Thank you for reading
I started The Fan Files in 2025 as a way to deepen my love and understanding of baseball. Over the course of 14 months, I’ve published over 70 articles, and I have had a ton of fun writing about baseball and chatting with fascinating people in and around the industry from super fans to artists to the folks who spin the yarn that goes inside baseballs. Now, it’s time for me to slow down a bit.
I plan to keep The Fan Files website up for the foreseeable future, and I may even publish more writing on this site, just a little less regularly than I have before. If you are interested in following the next iteration of The Fan Files, you can find my shortform videos on TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube. While the format may be shorter (and less text-based), I hope that this practice will be more sustainable for me in the long run.
I hope to continue to cover baseball books, interesting baseball history, and the other bits of baseball joy on The Fan Files video channels. I also really do hope to continue doing some original reporting on those platforms as well.
Thank you for your continued support of this website and for supporting me in this journey, and most of all - thank you for reading.
